2023 Recap

As the year draws to a close, we are filled with excitement as we recall the achievements we’ve accomplished together at Mallorca Preservation. What an extraordinary year we’ve experienced! Each month was marked by successes, learnings, and growth.

1️⃣ 🤝 We kicked off the year by presenting our work to the CAEB community.

2️⃣ 🚶‍♂️💚 Kilómetros de Plástico por Iris – Year 3: We continued to unite young people in the fight against plastic, in collaboration with Menorca Preservation and IbizaPreservation.

3️⃣🦆 Cleaning of Maristany Wetland: With over 40 volunteers, we removed half a ton of waste.

4️⃣ 🏆 Our First Onda Cero Mallorca Radio Award. A memorable milestone!

5️⃣ 🦈 Release of Stingrays: In the waters of Cabrera, we released several stingray pups from the Petits Tauraons – Acció Stellaris project.

6️⃣ 🦅 Black Vulture Project: An unforgettable day at Ariant Estate with our MAPF family.

7️⃣ 🐢 Winners of Kilómetros de Plástico por Iris in Action: A week full of learning at sea and the release of two turtles with the scientists from Alnitak.

8️⃣ 🐬 ‘Welcome. Perhaps’: Our campaign in collaboration with Grupo Malla Publicidad and Diego Ricchiuti, promoting sustainable tourism.

9️⃣ 🌾 Agriculture: APAEMA farmers begin their course in holistic animal management from the Pasture + project.

🔟 🌟 Recognition from Essentially Mallorca: Our second award of the year! We are extremely grateful.

1️⃣1️⃣ 🐝 Environmental Education with the students of IES Son Cladera: A special day learning about bees and their importance.

1️⃣2️⃣ 🌍 Talk on Sustainability and Regenerative Agriculture at Rialto Living: We ended the year sharing knowledge with the local community.
