This initiative, carried out by the Tursiops Association to track and study the sperm whale population in the Balearic Islands, will provide data to support the proposal of a sanctuary east of the Balearic Islands for this species.

The data will also play a key role in defining the new proposed limits for the expansion of Cabrera National Park, which would contribute greatly towards protecting our wealth.
